Seeking to further his expertise, Dr. Mahmoud moved to the United States, where he trained at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Aurora Saini Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. His commitment to advancing his knowledge led him to the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, where he pursued a rigorous three-year Gastroenterology fellowship.
